He is survived by: his wife Shari; his daughter Becky Dechert (Jerry) of Hilo, HI; his granddaughter Annika Dechert; and his nephews, Todd Huizinga (Mary) and Tim Huizinga (Burt).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the CrossView Church (703 14th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
