It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Sue Braun (Fulton, Illinois), who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sharon leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin "Mike" Balk and Jeannette Balk (Venhuizen); her brother William "Bill" Balk; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Housenga (Paul) and Larry Damhoff.
She is survived by: her husband Terry; her sisters, Marva Waldon (Clint) of Howard City, MI and Julie Damhoff of Fulton, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Lynda of Thomson, IL and Laureen Phares (Larry) of Sun City, AZ.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
