The memory of Vernon J. Dornbush of Fulton, Illinois, born in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on April 21, 2024 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jay Dornbush and Ada Dornbush (Bos); his wife Diane J. Lauritzen; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Mattie Lauritzen.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa Schaver of Fulton, IL and Robert Dornbush (Cindy) of Muscatine, IA; his grandchildren, Kyle Schaver (Tiffany), Logan Schaver (Paige), Brady Schaver (Erin Gerdes), Jason Dornbush, Justin Dornbush and Jacob Dornbush (Kelsie); and his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Beau, Gracie, Lexie, Asher, Paisley, Sawyer and Tucker.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Bosma-Renkes - Fulton Chapel (1500 10th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established to Albany Ambulance Service.
