He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C Barnes and Thelma Barnes. He is survived by: his son Timothy Paul Barnes of Galatia, IL.; his wife Priscilla A Pulliam Barnes; his siblings, Daniel Barnes of Minnesota, Elaine Barnes of Washington, Paula Barnes of England, Rosemary Barnes of France and Rebecca Barnes of Oklahoma; his pets, Maxwell Dodge Barnes and Winston Vegas Barnes Wiemken; and also Norman C Wiemken of Galatia, IL..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stricklin Funeral Home (503 E Sloan St, Harrisburg, IL 62946). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
