It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loveta May Burnett of Galatia, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Jackson and Fern Jackson (Rose); and her siblings, Oral Jackson, Othner Jackson and Letha Evans.

She is survived by: her sons, Tim Tuttle (Sandy) of Harrisburg, IL, Mike Burnett of New Burnside, IL and Shannon Burnett (Monica) of Raleigh, IL; her grandchildren, Tonya Barringer (Peter) of Newburgh, IN, Tyler Tuttle (Makenzie) of Harrisburg, IL, Judd Burnett (Jamie) of Creal Springs, IL, Jessica Waters (Bryan) of Vienna, IL, Savannah Casey (Brandon) of Vienna, IL, Channa Burnett of New Burnside, IL, Caitlin Abner (Charlie) of Raleigh, IL, Nathan Burnett of Franklin, TN and Brandon Burnett (Emilie) of Ozark, MO; and her sister Loretta Patterson of Harco, IL.. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
