He was predeceased by: his parents, Dea Pierce and Vesta Pierce; and his sisters, Lufay Jones, Mary Sue Baker and LaFern Young.
He is survived by: his wife Janette Pierce (Johnson); his sister Minnie Winslow (Terry); his children, Charla Pierce-Beck (Ken) of Dixon, Todd Pierce (Ellen) of Hanover, IL and Sonja "Nikki" Pierce (Robert Klazura) of Denver; and his grandchild Abbi Faye Pierce.
