He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Harwick and Gladys Harwick (Palfrey); his wife Audrey Jean Harwick; his son David M. Harwick; and his half-siblings, John Phillips and Ida Mae Phillips-Norton.
He is survived by: his son Steven M. Harwick (Nora); his grandchildren, Angelyn Myers (Matt), Kurtis Harwick, Taralyn Patterson (Jimmie), Jamie Harwick (Miranda), Sarah Harwick (Mark), Laura Gates and Jordan Harwick; his great grandchildren, Madalyn, Kristin, Lauren, Addyson, Brynnlyn and Matthew Jr. Myers; his grandchildren, Dakari Patterson, Rebecca, Jonathan, Kailyn, Nicholas, Zoe Harwick, Audra Nielsen, Tayden (Ashley), Carter, Cooper, Graham and Foster Gates; his great great grandchild Luna Gates; his daughter-in-law Rissi Harwick; his half-sister Karen Hughes; his close friend Patty Cravatta; Chris, Ed, Cindy, Gaylon, John and Annette.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Furlong Funeral Chapel (100 Caroldon Ct, Galena, IL 61036). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Noon (404 South St, Galena, IL 61036).
