He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Heller and Teresa Heller (Berns); his in-laws, Cletus and Lois Hilby; his sister Laurie Theill; his siblings-in-law, Bob Gallagher, David Runde, Bob Hilby and Polly Hilby; his niece Lindsay Wubben-Simonini; his nephews, Eric Heller, Jared Fleege and Nick Hilby; and his great-nephews, Brady and Henry Heller.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hilby; his children, Matt Heller (Anna), Tim Heller (Diane), Beth Mann (Derek), Kim Goodwin (Mark), Corey Heller (Joy) and Melissa Heller; his grandchildren, Zach, Leah, Alaina, Carter, Carli, Lincoln, Jude, Lissy, Alice, Emma, Jacob Heller, Casey, Ali, Brinley Mann, Callen, Harrison and Bennett Goodwin; his siblings, Connie Gallagher, Jerry Heller (Ann), Kenny Heller, Jane McCartney (Dave), Betty Wubben (Dan) and Terry Heller (Jeanne); his aunt Evie Fleege; and his in-laws, Paul Fleege (Nancy), Mike Brotzman (Cathy), Randy Wills (Joyce) and Tom Hilby (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of plants and flowers, the family encourages donations to Hospice of Dubuque or St. Joseph's School in Sinsinawa, WI.
