He is survived by: his children, Kurt (Leeann), Kelli Pope (John), Kerri Conway (Tom) and Karla Bruce (Bill); his grandchildren, Kori, Kyle, Colin, Cody, Michael, Courtney, Shannon, Taylor, Sean, Riley, Logan and Lindsay; his sister Linda Kirby; and his sisters-in-law, Mary and Victoria.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home & Cemetery (17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Dubuque, 1670 John F Kennedy Road, Dubuque, IA 52002 or the American Cancer Society.
