He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Offerman and Agnes Offerman (Brierty); and his siblings, Eugene "Gene", Marianne (Keyzer), Margaret "Peggy" (Leman) and Kathleen "Kathy" (Whiting).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Gallis; his children, Mary (Kelly) and John; and his siblings, Frances "Fran" O'Keefe and Vincent "Vin". He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Joe's name to Safe Haven Humane Society in Elizabeth, IL, where Joe and Joan adopted many beloved cats.
