Mike Hillard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, Mike Hillard of Galena, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Hillard and Joanne Hillard (Piquette); his in-laws, Robert and Camilla Stovall; and his brother-in-law James Stovall.
He is survived by: his wife Marianne Stovall of Michael's Catholic Church; his children, Aimee Hicks (Jeffrey) of Spring Grove, IL and Andrew Hillard (Amanda) of Galena; his grandchildren, Harrison, Ashton, Julia Hicks, Grace, Ava and Olivia Hillard; his siblings, Patricia Hillard of Coralville, IA, Kimberlee DeWall (Jeff) of Galena, Ann Fleege (Terry) of Colorado Springs, CO. and Mark Hillard (Donna) of Dubuque, IA; and his brother-in-law John Stovall of Freeport, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (227 S Bench St, Galena, IL 61036). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Mike.
