Roberta J. Turner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta J. Turner of Galena, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Roberta's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Roberta's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scott and Nina Scott (Curtis); and her husband John "Jack" Turner. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Rewey (Brian), Bobby Turner (Tammie), Joey Turner (Nicole) and Tony Turner (Robin Gutwill). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister and four sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Furlong Funeral Chapel (100 Caroldon Ct, Galena, IL 61036).
