He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Monte Schwartz and Alice Schwartz (Charwell). He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ann Schwartz; his sister-in-law Gwynne Bablitch (Matt); his nephews, Alex and Nicholas; his niece Anna Bablitch; his sister-in-law Jody Green; his nieces, Kendra Fulton (Brian) and Emily Green; his brother Steve Schwartz (Diane); his nieces and nephews, Kristin Schwartz, Erin Hasenoehrl (family: Raelyn Lott, Christine Arakawa) and Steven DeLong; his brother Stuart Schwartz (Jacqueline); and his nieces and nephews, Andrina Zolj-Schwartz and Taylor Schwartz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Furlong Funeral Chapel (100 Caroldon Ct, Galena, IL 61036). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Midwest Medical Senior Care Center, Hospice of Dubuque, and the Parkinson's Foundation. The family extends deep appreciation to Dr. Gregory Vandigo, the Midwest Medical Center, Midwest Medical Senior Care Center, Dubuque Hospice, and friends who brought Stan joy and comfort throughout his 15-year battle with Parkinson's disease.
