She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. DuVall and Sadie Mae DuVall (Folger); her husband Carl J. "Bud" Jacobs, Jr.; her son Daniel W. Jacobs; and her sisters, Shirley Hainline, Bonnie Brant and Sandra Kay DuVall.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Kirch (Ken) of Virginia Beach and Becky Jacobs of Galesburg; her daughter-in-law Jean Jacobs of Springfield; and her siblings, Thomas DuVall (Mary Ann) of Louisville and Linda Highfil (John) of Fort Myers, Florida..
