He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilding Johnson and Lucile Johnson (Larson); and his daughter Christine. He is survived by: his wife Marcia L. Callahan; his children, Eric Johnson (Katrina) of Galesburg, Preston Johnson of Galesburg, Kimberly Lunsford (Charles) of Galesburg and Shannon Johnson (Stephen Nowak) of Glenview, Illinois; his sister Barbara Wangelid (Tobbe) of Galesburg; and his grandchildren, Kendall Johnson, Katyn Pica-Johnson (Austin Price), Audrey Johnson and Jesse Lunsford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A prayer will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
