He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Boone and Opal Edna Boone (Beal); his brothers, Richard Boone, Charles Boone and Gale Boone; and his brother-in-law Dewey Newell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Littrel (Dale) of Aledo and Susan Hoover (Scott) of Frankfort, Illinois; his sister Elaine Newell of Metamora, Illinois; his granddaughters, Nikki Holmes (Bryce) and Andrea Hoover; and his great grandchildren, Carson Holmes, Brady Holmes and Garrett Holmes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Remnant Bible Church or the Wataga Senior Center.
