He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Higgins and Mary Elizabeth Higgins (Gustine); and his brother Bud. He is survived by: his wife Birdie; his daughter Jessica Chambers (Cliff) of Galesburg; his sister Alice Lawson of Monmouth; his son Brent Higgins (Christine) of Washington Illinois; his grandchildren, Quinn Higgins (Randi) of Roseville Illinois, Abigail Sey (Reginald) and Teagan Higgins of Washington Illinois; and his great grandchild Avery Higgins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation to benefit pancreatic cancer research or the FISH Food Pantry.
