He was predeceased by: his father Robert Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Connie Miller Thompson; his brother Jessie Wolfe of Galesburg; and his uncles, Mike Miller (Sinna Mae) of San Antonio, Dan Miller of Mattoon, Joe Miller of Quincy and Mark Miller (Annie) of Palmyra.

Due to social distancing related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dan's Celebration will be announced for a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
