He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Edwin C. Beversdorf and Emily Mable Beversdorf (Fierke). He is survived by: his wife Diane J. Yates; and his children, Scott D. Beversdorf (Robin) of Owatonna, Minnesota, Andy E. Beversdorf (Roxanne) of Wichita and Becky E. Veasey (Steve) of Bourbonnais, Illinois. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Rock Steady Boxing, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
