He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lawrence and Gisela Lawrence (Klein); his wife Connie Guenther; and his stepfather Robert Crowe. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Gooding; his daughter Rochelle Wertz (Sebastian) of Galesburg; his sisters, Sharon Palmer (Charles) of Washington, Tina Lawrence (Steve Lair) of Texas and Connie Shepherd (David) of Texas; his grandchildren, Austin Wertz, Elvin Wertz, Zachary Wertz and Faith Wertz; and his great grandchildren, Averley, Pierre, Ellis and Azalea.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gilson Cemetery (691 Knox Hwy 12, Gilson, IL 61436).
