It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie A. Varnold of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Joseph and Irene Opal O'Malley (Martin); and her sister Sandra Kay O'Malley. She is survived by: her husband Richard Dean Varnold of Galesburg; her children, Erin Asher (Jeff) of Abingdon, Jacob Varnold of Galesburg and Michael Varnold of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Kiley Cozad, Elyssa Cozad and Haydyn Woods; her stepgrandchildren, Gero Lewis, Josh Asher and Katy Asher; and her siblings, Patricia Pitman of Knoxville, Illinois, James O'Malley (Linda) of Washington and William O'Malley of Galesburg. She is also survived by six step great grandchildren.
