He is survived by: his children, Mark D. Kilpatrick of Galesburg and Lisa K. Pedigo (Bill) of Galesburg; and his grandchildren, Shannon Pedigo, Shawn Pedigo and Connor Kilpatrick.

Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.
