He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Nicholas and Joan F. Nicholas (Morrow); his brother Jimmy Nicholas; and his close friend Cathy. He is survived by: his siblings, Dale Nicholas of Galesburg, Susan Fones (Brian) of Colona, Christine Wells (David) of Galesburg and Carol Courson (Jeremy) of Maquon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens (2040 US-150, Galesburg, IL 61401).
