She was predeceased by: her parents, George Claire and Dolly Marie Wilson (Schultz); her husband Merton Orval Helvick; and her stepchildren, Earl M. Helvick, Donald A. Helvick, Carole Mammen, Pamela Arola and Marilyn Jensen.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark L. Helvick (Georgia) of Maple Grove, Gary D. Helvick (Cathy) of Peoria Illinois and Alan K. Helvick (Cindy) of Galesburg, Illinois; and her stepson Paul L. Helvick (Susan) of Roseville, California. She is also survived by many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
