He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cunningham and Anna Louise Cunningham (Stagg); and his siblings, Jerry Cunningham and Betty J. Dempsey. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Cunningham (Nancy) of Vero Beach and Brian Cunningham (Andie Freberg) of Memphis, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Matthew Cunningham (Jen) and Cassie Cunningham; and his great grandchildren, Castle and Citrine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, Galesburg Chapel (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Galesburg High School Athletic Department.
