It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Zefo of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Zefo and Elizabeth Zefo (Morissey); his stepdaughter Marlene Zefo; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Zefo, William "Gabby" Zefo, Tony Zefo, Joseph Zefo, Betty Owen and Patricia Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Zefo (Evon) of Galesburg, Richard Zefo of Galesburg, David Martinez (Peggy) of Galesburg and Christine Martinez of Galesburg; and his stepdaughter Mardena Scott of Monmouth, Illinois. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
