It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Harrison of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Harrison to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. Harrison and Delia Harrison (Hurt); his wife Mary Jean DeSollar; his close friend Dottie Lee Lovell; his daughter Janice Kimble; his sister Audrey Sandall; and his grandson Kevin Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Mills (Steve) of Knoxville and Lori Moore (Justin) of Oneida, Illinois; and his brothers, Arthur B. Harrison, Jr. of Galesburg and Eddie Harrison of Galesburg. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
