With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edwards of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Otis and Margaret Elizabeth Edwards (Lawson); and his wife Carol L. "Susie" Bryant. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Edwards (Lindsey) of Indianapolis and Jennifer Nelson (Jim) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Hannah Nelson of Abilene, Rylan, Reegan Edwards of Indianapolis and Aiden Nelson of Galesburg; his sisters, Rose England (Stuart) of Oneida and Lois Edwards (Larry Musselman) of Gettysburg; his sister-in-law Terri Hazen (Ron) of Galesburg; his nephew Ben Browning, Jr. of Galesburg; and his great-nephews, Kody Clay of Hampton and Gage Browning of Williamsfield, Illinois..

Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society, American Heart Association, or Fresenius Dialysis Center.
