With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence William Griffith of Galesburg, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester E. Griffith and Gladys M. Griffith (Morris); his wife Patricia Joan Slead; his daughter Anna Jonette Adams; and his brothers, Raymond and Harold Griffith.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon Griffith (Chris) of Lake St and Monica McGraw (Ed) of Henderson, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jason Griffith (Barb), Jeremy Griffith (Rose), Kelly Steed (Craig), Ryan Adams and Betsy Adams; his great grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Connie and Marliko; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Griffith of Galesburg.
