He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejandro L. Gutierrez and Ramona J. Gutierrez (Gimenez); his daughter Alexis Marie; and his siblings, Alejandro "Sonny" Gutierrez, Theresa Gutierrez and Dolly Sundell.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie; his daughter Danielle Foster (Nick) of Bettendorf, Iowa; and his siblings, David Gutierrez of Galesburg, Ramon Gutierrez (Diana) of Kerrville, Texas, Esther Fox of Galesburg and Regina Hodge of Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
