She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion E. Borop and Alice D. Borop (Parsons); her husband Richard L. "Dick" Hamilton; and her brother Gene Borop. She is survived by : her daughters, Laura Cole (Eric) of Fishers and Mary Heeringa (Jeremy) of Williamsport; her grandsons, Davis Cole, Matthew Cole and Joel Heeringa; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Borop of Antioch and Ann Hamilton of Kewanee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
