She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Carruthers and Glenda Carruthers (Akers) of Galesburg; her children, Johniyah, Johnalyn Holman of Galesburg and J. T. Holman of Galesburg; and her brother Tyson Carruthers of Lusby, Maryland. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to be designated to a college trust fund for her children.
