He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Cone and Julia M. Cone (Asbell). He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Cone' (Brittany) of Ipswich and Christopher Cone' of Dixon Illinois; his wife Julie A. Stevens; and his grandchildren, Eden Baumgardner, Stella Baumgardner and Declan Baumgardner.
Despite fighting 6 years against cancer Mike continued to think of others and because of this he had requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
