It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy S. DeWitt of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Peggy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay D. DeWitt and Marian L. DeWitt (Enlow); and her grandparents, Maurice, Louise Enlow, Eugene and Della DeWitt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Teresa DeWitt of Galesburg, Vicki DeWitt of Macomb, Lori Guel of Galesburg and Travis "Mike" DeWitt of Abingdon, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
