He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Bills, and Leona Bills, Sr. (King). He is survived by: his wife Christine Bills (Church) of Dubuque, IA.; his children, Hilary Bills-Wales and Joshua Bills (Angelica) of Galesburg; and his brother Robert L. Bills, Jr. of New Vienna, IA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
