He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Miller and Erma Miller (Swank); his siblings, Steve Miller, Linda Manion and Marilyn Miller; and his son-in-law Danny Benedict.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Lynn Carson; his children, Richard Miller (Nikki) and Tina Lynn Benedict of Galesburg; and his grandchildren, Ryan Miller (Arie) of Galesburg, Chris Miller (Victoria) of Abingdon, Illinois, Josh Miller (Kaily) of Knoxville, Illinois, Brooke Benedict (Aaron) of Nashville, Tennessee and Angel Miller of Plymouth, Illinois. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
