He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Simmons and Judith Ann Simmons (King) of Alpha; his daughters, Trisha Plunkett (Scott) of Florissant, MO, Erika Wignall (Mike Munz) of Galesburg, Emily Lawson (Jason) of Alpha and Morgan Lawson (Travis) of Opheim; his grandchildren, Dakota, Courtney, Caleb, Riley Adams, Scottie Plunkett, Kaden, Brayden, Brysen Lawson, Brecken Foust, Mitchell, Kaiti Lawson and Grace Lefler; his brother Steve Simmons of Alpha; his close friends, Ken Gates and Joe Indelicato; his wife Nancy Simmons; his cousin Roger King; and his son-in-law Mike. He was also cherished by eight great grandchildren.
