With sadness, we share the passing of Rose M. Meyer of Galesburg, Illinois. Rose, born on May 3, 1953, passed away on September 17, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rose M. Meyer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Joe O. Barragan; her husband James A. "Slim" Meyer; and her mother-in-law Gladys Meyer. She is survived by: her mother Helen Barragan (Vega) of Galesburg; her children, Aaron Meyer of Orange County and Michele Meyer of Galesburg; her grandsons, James and Jacob Meyer; her siblings, Eduardo Barragan (Jeanette) of Florida, Victoria Adams (Phil) of Galesburg, Linda Rice (Tim) of Galesburg and Diana Kenan (Rick) of Galesburg; and her great-nephew Tavian Campbell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Radiant Worship Center (521 W Losey St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
