He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald Kunkle and Annilee Kunkle (Deulen). He is survived by : his sister Rhonda Tucker of Abingdon; his children, Matthew Kunkle (Shannon) of Morton, Scott Kunkle (Beth) of Galesburg, Megan Bowers (Ryan) of Muscatine, Kyle Kunkle of Goshen and Amber Kunkle of Moline; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Erickson (Shelby), Jayden and Emma Kunkle.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Critter Cove.
