She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hopkins and Cora Hopkins (Agnew); her husband Leland "Doc" Bishop; and her son Gary Bishop. She is survived by: her children, Linda Michael (Chuck) of Monmouth, IL and Andy Bishop (Kay) of DuQuoin, IL; her grandchildren, Carey Aten, Corey Aten (Molly), Dustin Bishop, Makaela King, Lucas Michael (Kristen), Melanie Jenkins (Adam) and Clinton Smith (Sarah); her daughter-in-law Sueanne Bishop of Boynton Beach, FL; and her brother Tom Hopkins of Girard, IL. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the McGuire and Davies Funeral Home (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Maryville Cemetery (102 N Stanley St, Bryant, IL 61519).
Memorials may be given to the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Kirkwood.
