Ruth L. Pecsi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth L. Pecsi of Galesburg, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth L. Pecsi to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Chester and Frances Elizabeth Kemmitt (Nelson); her husband Frank Pecsi; her son Franklin H. Pecsi; her siblings, Bill Kemmitt, Donald Johnson and Jane E. Myers; and her close friend Albert Dickson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Anne Hanner (Bob) of Normal, John D. Pecsi (Mary Hepner) of Keithsburg and Jane Elizabeth Cox of Galesburg; her daughter-in-law Dixie Pecsi of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Eric Graff (Lainen), Carly Daniels (Kurt), Jenny Nielsen (Scott), Nikki Johnson (Aaron), John Pecsi, Randi Jo Cox (Connor Smith) and Jarod Cox (Kaitlyn Godsil); and her great grandchildren, Easton, Csilla Daniels, Charlie, Grace, Emerson Johnson, Colton, Ethan Graff, Finn, Kade Nielsen and Vada Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth would like memorials to be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
