He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dyke and Evelyn Van Dyke (Koepping); and his siblings, Wilma Keller, Arlene, Dave Pech, Kathryn, Richard Kruse, Janet, Frank Stalkfleet, Ralph and Pat Van Dyke.
He is survived by: his sister Marsha Wilson; his brother-in-law Danny Keller; his close friends, Kelly Van Dyke Teel, Joseph Williamson, Corrine Van Dyke and Allan Wilson; and his grandchildren, Tiana Van Dyke, Micaela Booth, Katie VanDyke, Alexander Miller, Kyra Miller, Samarra Williamson, Mileigh Williamson and Rylan Williamson. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Speer Funeral Home (2502 SE 3rd St, Aledo, IL 61231).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
