She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Sykes (Beecher) of Galesburg; her brother Doug Welch (Dawn) of Galesburg; her sister-in-law Joyce Commean of Galesburg; her nephews, Jeremy Cardenas (Hailey) of Galesburg and Tanner Smith of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Ky Dickerson and Jayce Dickerson; her great grandchild Violet Welch; her grandchildren, Lucas Welch (Chloe), Gabby Walters, Jordan Sego (Bryan) and Alexandria Sykes; her niece Andrea Reed (Chad); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Reed, Kylie Reed, Easton Reed, Caiden Dougherty and Rylan Dougherty.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watson-Thomas Funeral Home (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
