He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill Hayes and Beverly Hayes; his daughter Lindsey Corbin (Josh); his grandchildren, Audrey and Benjamin of Galesburg; his siblings-in-law, Becky and Jim Clark; his nephews, Nate Townsend (Jessica) and John Clark; his great-niece Emma Devlin; his sisters, Sabrena and Gwen; and his nephews, Jason, Patrick, Kason and Nathan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family to establish an education fund for Audrey and Benjamin.
