He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Staley and Mildred L. Staley (Thrasher); his wife Patricia L. Gillenwater; and his son-in-law Bruce Pedersen. He is survived by: his children, William Staley (Denise) of Galesburg and Joetta Pedersen of Galesburg; his grandson Brad Sandy (Tiffany) of Galesburg; and his great grandchild Max Sandy.
