She was predeceased by: her parents, James Throgmorton and Leona Throgmorton (Sexsmith); her husband Richard D. "Dick" Hier; her brother James; her grandson Brett; and her close friends, Don Lindquist and John Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hier (Vanessa) of Galva, Toni Phillips of Galva and Penny Mirocha of Foley, AL; her granddaughters, Nicole, Sarah (William), Jennifer (Michael), Amber (Stephanie), Melissa and Emily (Danny); and her great grandchildren, Baily, Cora, Henry and Bryson.
