It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joel Allen Brewster of Galva, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his stepfather Joe Brewster; and his brother John Doss. He is survived by : his parents, Lynda Anderson (Doss) and Gary Anderson of Toulon; his daughter Tia Brewster of Yukon, OK; his grandson Damon Reese; his adoptive son Dalton Brewster; his brother James Brewster of Moline; his nephew Frankie Doss; his stepsiblings, Ehrin and Shauna Anderson; and his niece Harmony Stauth.

A memorial has been established at the State Bank of Toulon at the Toulon, Kewanee, and Galva location, so he may have a park bench at the park district in his memory.
