He is survived by: his wife Lisa Anne Rose (Sauer); his children, Jennifer Lynn Huffman (Gary Huffman) and Jason Camiel Rose (Heather Rose); his nieces and nephews, Dawn Roberts (Jeremy Roberts), Peter Rose (Hannah Schlagel Rose), Riely Jones and Kasey Jones; his great-nephews, Aiden Roberts, Connor Roberts, Everett Rose and Solomon Rose; his great-niece Penelope Rose; his cousins, Deb Van Develde (Jim Van Develde), Cheri Karau, Kelli Coutou, Nick Kropp (Angelita Beguiras Kropp) and Becky Kropp Hickenbottom (Donnie Hickenbottom); David Rose, Juli Nelson (Greg Nelson) and Sue Rose.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (313 Market St, Galva, IL 61434). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
