As we bid Naomi farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Naomi is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Gates and Mabel Gates (Graff); her husband Frank "Junior" Peterson; and her sisters, Dalene and Maxine.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kennedy (James) of Burr Ridge, IL, Jolene Zukauskas (Bruce) of Groton, MA, John Peterson (Sydna) of New Orleans, LA and Elizabeth Buck (Bradley) of Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
