He is survived by: his children, Ruth Hepner and Randall "Randy" Hepner (Angela) of Galva; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hedrick (Randy), Lukas Hepner (Nikita), Jordan Hepner, Cassandra Hepner and Brandon Macklin; his great grandchildren, Bryson Hall, Braelyn Macklin, Jasper Hepner, Viktor Hepner, Ruby Hedrick and Emily Pries; and his great great grandchild Alexader Pries.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rux Funeral Homes (313 Market St, Galva, IL 61434). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
